Administration

Once the employee benefit package is implemented, EBS provides services to aid in administration. From benefit, billing, and claim research, to guidance on correct procedures, to employee meeting and communication materials, EBS can assist with the administration of your client's employee benefit package. Generally, the sub-broker desires direct contact with the client but, based on the needs of the parties, communication can be between EBS and the client.

  • Benefit, billing, claim research
  • Employer administrative training
  • Administrative procedures
  • Compliance tools - COBRA/HIPAA/FMLA
  • Employee educational meetings
  • Employee survey

    Benefit, billing, claim research
Often times, either the employer or employee has made an unsuccessful attempt to resolve an issue directly with the insurance carrier and needs assistance. EBS will act as the liaison between the various parties and assist with a resolution.

    Employer Administrative Training
Proper training and guidance for the group administrator is necessary for smooth administration of an employee benefit program. EBS will assist the sub-broker with this training.

    Administrative Procedures
Even with administration training, unique issues will arise and employers will require assistance. EBS will provide support for the sub-broker in this area.

    Compliance Tools
The various government regulations affecting employer-sponsored group plans can become quite complex. EBS will provide tools to aid in the compliance of most regulations that impact the group program.

    Employee Educational Meeting
Generally, employees are more satisfied with their benefit program when they understand the coverage's that are available to them. An employee meeting is a proactive way to provide this understanding.

    Employee Survey Forms
Oftentimes employees do not communicate their benefit needs to the employer. A survey is helpful in this area, to assure the benefit package offered truly meets the employee's needs.
